Communitiy Based Tourism Đông Ngạc
CBT Đông Ngạc is the first responsible tourism product invested and operated by the RTC. CBT Đông Ngạc project aims to preserve the traditional values of the Đông Ngạc ancient village. Simultaneously, RTC aspires to introduce a cultural destination with a true sense of an intellectual town in the outskirt of Hanoi. CBT Đông Ngạc focuses on interactive activity with the villagers to learn their glory history from the great ancestors as well as a daily life of the spring in the modern times. Browsing the local street and lesson on how to bargain with vendors were highly regarded by the team as a highlight of the program. The village’s ancient architectures and monuments undoubtedly wowed the crowd by its exquisite designs and well preservation. Taking part in preparing and having meal with the host were also a very interesting and unforgettable experience.
Tây Tựu flower village, CBT Đông Ngạc
Tây Tựu, famous for floriculture, not far from Đông Ngạc village, is integrated in the CBT Đông Ngạc tomake a complete full day tour. Tây Tựu is planned by the Hanoi authority to become the provider of organic flowers and vegetables for the whole city. With its natural beauty made up bythe various types of flowers, Tây Tựu village is a destination promising to bring an exciting sightseeing for visitors. It can be considered as a bucolic landscape, out of the touch of the urbanization process. The village has tranquil beauty with images of farmers working on the flower fields. Tây Tựu village is a glancing image of Vietnam countryside in the inner uproarious capital of Hanoi.
The product training has received deep interests fromsales and product mamagers of official members of RTC. After a real experience of CBT Đông Ngạc, many critical views and constructive ideas have been brought to the tables for discussion in order to make a better CBT Đông Ngạc to balance customers’ utility and preservation benefits for the village.
After this product training session,RTC hopes to capture more attention to commercialize a responsible tourism product – CBT Đông Ngạc. RTC also makes great effort to cooperate with members to preserve the precious traditional and culture values and the beauty of the ancient village of Đông Ngạc and Tây Tựu. It’s in the core mission of CBT Đông Ngạc in bringing tourists a unique and interesting experience yet culturally and socially responsible.
